About the District
Jardin Majorelle was created by French painter Jacques Majorelle in the 1920s and later restored by Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé. Today it is one of the most visited sites in Morocco — and the anchor of one of Marrakech's finest neighbourhoods.
The area surrounding the garden is unlike anywhere else in the city. Where the medina is dense and sensory, the Majorelle district is calm, leafy, and residential. Wide streets lined with bougainvillea, private villas, boutique hotels, and some of the best restaurants in Marrakech.
For travellers who want to feel like they actually live in Marrakech — not just pass through it — this is the neighbourhood that makes that possible.

Yes — the Musée Yves Saint Laurent Marrakech is adjacent to the garden and a 2-minute walk from our apartments. It is one of the finest design museums in Africa and an essential visit for anyone with an interest in fashion, art or the history of Marrakech.
Yes — the garden changes significantly depending on the time of day and season. Many guests visit two or three times during their stay, precisely because staying 2 minutes away makes it effortless and free from logistics.
During peak season (November to March and school holidays), advance booking is strongly recommended as the garden reaches capacity quickly. In quieter periods tickets are available on arrival. We recommend booking online when visiting between December and February.
