Managing your Marrakech apartment from abroad
Nomad Living Marrakech ·
Distance makes unexpected problems harder to handle when responsibilities are unclear. Start by agreeing who acts locally, which decisions need your approval and how you will be kept informed.
Choose how much you want to delegate
If you already have a reliable team for arrivals, cleaning and maintenance, you can keep that organisation and delegate commercial management. If you also need someone to coordinate daily operations, examine the scope of a full management offer.
Nomad Living offers both approaches: Performance for pricing, listings and distribution; Full Management to add guest relations and the agreed operational coordination. The choice depends on your existing organisation as well as where you live.
Agree how decisions will be made
Before starting, agree how approvals will be requested and recorded. A routine repair, a furniture replacement and an urgent incident may need different approaches.
Also define personal stays, blocked dates and how to communicate them. A shared calendar does not replace a clear process for confirming new unavailable dates.
- Your usual contact and the contact route for incidents.
- Expenses that need a quotation or prior approval.
- Communication channel and expected documents.
- Arrangements for personal stays and maintenance visits.
- Property access rules for each service provider.
Ask for property updates, not just an income total
Useful reporting brings together stays, revenue, expenses and the condition of the apartment. Ask for clear updates on completed work and open issues, supported by the available records.
You should be able to distinguish what happened during the month from what still needs doing. A short action list with an owner and next step can be more useful than details scattered across several conversations.
Prepare the starting information
Collect property details, amenities, technical instructions and your existing provider contacts. Flag known issues that may affect stays: an appliance awaiting repair, particular access arrangements or scheduled work.
An initial conversation with Nomad Living helps establish your needs and whether the apartment fits the proposed arrangement. Responsibilities and working arrangements are clarified before starting.
Let’s discuss your apartment.
